9:40 Local genealogy resources. Presenter: Jason Gaudet, local genealogy researcher and VP of the NB Genealogical Society. More people, everywhere, want to trace their family tree. The NB Genealogical Society and its local chapter can help. Learn more about their abilities and resources.
10:15 Build an interpretative web page. Presenter: Colin Windhorst, historian and digital curator. Colin is helping Down East heritage groups to develop free web and mobile pages through a new public-private collaboration that has just been extended to Charlotte County groups. Learn about it and the chance to start developing your own pages on February 29.
10:50 Break. Briefly for necessities, refreshments and networking.
11:00    Government and other assistance to heritage groups. Presenter: Kellie Blue-McQuade, Executive Director, Association Heritage NB. An overview of federal, provincial and other programs; how to apply.
11:40 Working together. Convenor – Lee Sochasky, Charlotte County Memories Project Leader, integrated planner. Are there easy ways for local heritage groups to keep in touch and collaborate to make the most of their resources and do a better job of preserving and promoting our heritage?  Let’s find them and put them into action.
12:20 Lunch (provided for workshop participants)

1-4:00 Charlotte County displays by heritage groups. Please bring a display to tell your story and invite visits, future members and volunteers.
Heritage movies on the big screen. St. Stephen Community Memories, Mac’s Mill, Charlotte County Moments and more. You’ll be surprised and entertained by the lineup!
