Our speaker is Janet Thomas of the Central NB Welsh Society. Her topic is "Cardigan 200: The Arrival in 1819 of the Welsh in New Brunswick."

Rivers Keirstead - our Dan Johnson bursary recipient, will present her research findings on the effects of PTSD - in WW2 veterans. In particular the 8th Princess Louise's NB Hussars, to which her grandfather - Major Howard Keirstead belonged.

There will be a meeting of the Capital Branch of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society Inc. on Saturday, November 9th, 10:00 AM at the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick on the UNB Campus (Fredericton). After the business session, Jay Sprague will give a presentation about research he did to prepare for a trip to Europe in the Fall of 2018, through which he and his sons followed his father's WWII journey with the 89th (Woodstock) Field Battery, 5th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery from Normandy to the Rhineland (July 1944 to April 1945). Members and non-members are welcome
